The name of the parliament house of Bangladesh is The Sangsad Bhaban. The starting date of the construction of The Sangsad Bhaban in 1964 and date of inauguration in 1982.It is situated in Sher-E-Bangla Nagar in Dhaka. Name of the original designer is Ameridan architect Louis I. Khan. The height of the building is 150ft (9 story building). The lake surrounds The Sangsad Bhaban is “the Cresent Lake”. There are 1605 windows, 335 ventileters, and 335 doors in The Sangsad Bhaban. The legth of the corridor is 41.6 kilometers. There are 354 seats for MPs, 56 guests seat, 40 journalist seats, and 430 spectators’ seats in The Sangsad Bhaban. Annual maintainance cost of The Sangsad Bhaban is about 50 million taka.
